This 1960 MV Agusta CHICCO SCOOTER is the rarest of the rare – only a handful still in existence of this iconic Brand Scooter. It is a 155cc single cylinder 2 stroke engine, 4 speed, 5.8hp, with BC Title & Registration. It is an original barn-find, complete, in running condition, and was last run at the 2018 Vancouver Scooter Rally.

The headset bearings are loose and need replacement. Speedo glass and chrome rim were replaced, Spare set of 3 tires and a spare wheel rim (not original), NOS piston 1st oversize, new kick rubber included.

Original documentation includes the Italian registration book from 20 May 1961 in Reggio Emilia that matches the license plate RE-51216 along with yearly renewals up to 1965, Autoclub membership and the full illustrated parts catalogue (34 pages).  These documents and the license plate are of significant importance alone.

This scooter is complete and retains original components. Paint work is somewhat distressed – areas are still original cream colour, it looks to have been overcoated in some areas with a white paint. Body work needs attention.

The plastic MV emblem on the front includes a plastic backing mount that is rare – even the example in the MV Museum in Cascina Costa in Italy does not have one. I have personally seen only two other examples – one as mentioned in the MV Museum and one that was part of the Gary Kohl collection, sold at Las Vegas Auction in 2015. The bike is located in Langley, BC and is offered at $4000.
