Here is a collectors dream; this 1979 Ducati 900SS in 750SS livery is in very good condition, and at a fraction of the price of a real 750SS is still an affordable legend. The bike has 33,000 km on it, and has the original factory crankcase seal still intact. It runs and drives well and has a few minor cosmetic flaws.

The owner purchased this bike in 2009 at 11,000 km, at which time he replaced the wiring harness, clutch, shift return spring, brake master cylinder, and sprockets. Also at that time the wheels were replaced with Akront rims with stainless spokes, and the fibreglass tank with visible fuel strip, bodywork and the frame were painted to 750SS (green frame) specifications.

More recently the voltage regulator was upgraded, the tires and battery were replaced, and the valves were adjusted within the last 5000km. Engine DM860 089365, frame DM860SS 089394. This bike has the Desmo heads and the desirable 40mm Dellortos and Conti pipes. The bike is located in Tokyo and is offered at $25,000 USD.
